Stoppers & Airlocks

For both carboys and buckets. In our opinion 3 piece airlocks are superior to the triple ripple type in that they can be taken apart and cleaned. However we do sell the triple ripple type in case you are use to that type and would like to stay with it.

Rubber style with two attachments for vinyl blow off hoses (3/8 or 1/2''). For use with our 3, 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon glass carboys with smooth necks. Can also be used on 5 and 6 gallon plastic carboys

Pro Tip: Carboy hoods are exceptionally useful for blowoff tubes. Just add 3' of 1/2" racking tubing into a bucket of water as your airlock.

This is a replacement grommet for plastic bucket fermenter lids. It is made out of rubber and fits perfectly in a 1/2" diameter hole.

When in a bucket it has a 3/8" inner diameter which is perfect for an airlock.

It's always a good idea to have a couple of these on hand.

This carboy thermowell is used in conjunction with the Digital Controller, to more accurately regulate internal temperature during fermentation. It is exceptionally useful during the start of fermentation when the lag between ambient temperature in the refrigerator and actual temperature in the carboy can vary greatly. Now you can keep your beer or wine within one degree of the set point on your digitial controller. Designed to fit either 5, 6 or 6.5 gallon glass carboys or any other similarly sized opening hole, the unit comes with an 15" stainless steel thermowell and a #6.5 stopper that will accommodate our sanitary filter as well. It can be used in any container with a stopper opening where you need to accurately monitor and control liquid temperature.
