The Vineyard Wine Guild Members earn More Medals

Last weekend the Amatuer Winemakers of Canada held their Annual National Home Wine Making Competition. Alberta Amatuer Winemakers (AAW) hosted the prestigious event September 15 and 16. There were a total of 220 wines entered by winemakers from across Canada. The wines had to pre-quailfy by placing high in their respective Provincial competitions, so the level of wines are 'the best of the best'.

The Vineyard Wine Guilds earned 7 medals. From the South Guild: Marie Wagner earned a Bronze for her Pinot Noir and Neil (our beer geek) earned a Bronze for his Sparkling wine.

From the North Guild: Marilyn Chaison took home two Bronze Medals, one for her Chardonnay and one for her Dessert wine. Marilyn also earned a Silver for her After Dinner (Port). Stephen Butt earned a Silver for his Red Table wine and a Bronze for his White Other wine.

We are very proud of these accomplishments and congratulate them.
