25' x 3/8" Wort Chiller - Immersion SS with garden hose adapters

$79.95

A premium compact immersion chiller made with 25 feet of 3/8" OD, 304 stainless steel. This gorgeous unit is designed to chill five gallons of hot wort in as little as ten minutes, but is capable of cooling larger batches as well.

Whether you're brewing with extract or all-grain, bringing down the temperature of the wort quickly in order to pitch the yeast is an essential step in homebrewing. Lowering the temperature quickly reduces chances of contaminating your beer with wild yeasts and bacteria, and will reduce the levels of DMS (dimethyl sulfide) that can ruin a beer's aroma. A quick chilling of the wort will also improve clarity in the final product. Having the garden hose adapters hooked directly up to the wort chiller gives you the ability to quickly hook up your desired hose, this means that you have far more freedom as to what hose to use further expanding your options.

The Stainless Steel Wort Chillers are more durable and hygienic products compared to the copper variety due to being made of 3/8" 304 Stainless Steel. The resiliency that these wort chillers provide is unmatched, giving you an incredibly strong and long lasting wort chiller. The hygienic properties of stainless steel outmatch traditional copper, in addition Stainless Steel is a far easier to clean metal.

The compact design of this wort chiller makes it far less intrusive and easier to fit in tighter locations. Perfect for those with space constraints while still providing the excellent performance of our other wort chillers.

When using an immersion chiller there's no unnecessary transferring to different containers, and there's no need to dilute the wort with cold water. Just drop the immersion chiller in to the brew pot. The preferred method of sanitation is to make sure it is clean and submerge the coil portion of the chiller into the wort during the last 15 minutes of the boil, this will kill any wild yeasts or unsanitary pests that might be introduced. Once the brew pot is taken off the boil, you can begin cooling immediately by hooking up the line and turning on the water.
